The story already has an ending – God will be glorified no matter what happens. The in between is still up in the air. HOW will He be glorified? Not only in the church, but most importantly, how will God be glorified in MY life?
That is the question I often wonder – How will I use this blessing, trial, or triumph to glorify God? It is always on my mind, and always on my heart. It brings meaning to the time I spend working out and eating right because I know in the end when I lose this weight, HE will be glorified because it is my desire to glorify Him!
It motivates me to write, not because I’m a great writer but because I know that He will use my writing to glorify Him in some way. And He will be glorified NOT because of me or what I write, but because of Him and His Holy Spirit alive and working in the lives of those who are reading my books.
The ending gives purpose and meaning to the story. We already know the ending, so why do we fear and lack faith? God will be glorified, we just need to discover how He will use us to reach the happy ending…
